An event to commemorate the emancipation of Texan slaves from slavery on June 19, 1865. Geared towards bringing together the African American Valley community together for an afternoon of fellowship and fun.

The event features music, family activities, sports, water play, a book fair, essay scholarship, community awards, marketplace and the kidpreneur business launch.
